Cuban sandwich
Ingredients
- 4 Cuban rolls
- 300 grams of cheese slices
- 200 grams of mustard
- 100 grams of gherkins in long slices
- 50 grams of spreadable butter
- 340 grams of Zwan Turkey Luncheon Meat
Preparation
STEP 1
Half the Cuban rolls. Spread the inside of the rolls with the butter and place them face down on a grill. Grill them in advance.
STEP 2
Remove the rolls from the grill and generously spread both halves with mustard. Then layer the bottom slice with slices of turkey luncheon meat, cheese and gherkins. Put the top half of the roll on top.
STEP 3
Then spread both the top and bottom of the sandwich with butter and place it on the grill again. A contact grill is most practical, as it directly toasts the sandwiches from above and below.
STEP 4
Cut the sandwiches in half after grilling and serve warm.
