Tabouleh salad
Ingredients
- 250 grams of cherry tomatoes
- 3 sprigs of mint
- 15 grams of parsley
- 1 lemon
- 200 grams of bulgur wheat
- A dash of olive oil
- 100 grams of pomegranate seeds
- Half a cucumber
- 1 red onion
- Salt and pepper
- 400 grams of Zwan Chicken Smoked Sausage
Preparation
STEP 1
Finely chop the red onion. Squeeze the lemon and use the juice to marinate the red onion. Let this marinate for about 10 minutes.
STEP 2
Boil the bulgur wheat gently for about 10 minutes until tender. Meanwhile, chop the cucumber and cherry tomatoes into small pieces.
STEP 3
Drain the bulgur and rinse it with cold water. Spoon the tomatoes and cucumber through the bulgur. Add a dash of olive oil and the marinated onion.
STEP 4
Finely chop the parsley and mint. Spoon this through the tabouleh with a pinch of salt and pepper. Finally, add thinly sliced smoked chicken sausage slices and the pomegranate seeds and stir to combine.
